27/6/10 - 'Album launch party success'

'I Saw a Stranger...' was launched to a packed crowd at the Hydrant in Brighton on Friday night. Support from Clayton and Skye and an energetic set of album tracks mixed with some informal covers from us meant that despite the heat there was a real party atmosphere.

13/6/2010 - 'Two more album tracks released'

We've put two more tracks from our forthcoming debut album 'I Saw a Stranger Take a Dead Man's Place' up online for you to have a listen to. 'I Am Not' and 'Do You Feel Free?' can now be heard on Reverb Nation, MySpace and here on our site on the media page.

7/6/2010 - 'Album launch gig'

Monday 28th June will see the release of our debut album 'I Saw a Stranger Take a Dead Man's Place' and we're launching it in style with a launch gig at the newly-refurbished Hydrant in central Brighton.

Tickets are £3.50 or for the bargain price of £10 you can get a ticket AND a pre-release copy of the album. Tickets will be available on the door or can be pre-ordered with the album in our online store.

We're also lining up some really interesting support acts for what promises to be a truly exciting evening!

6/6/2010 - 'Something Beautiful'

'Something Beautiful' - the first song to be released from our debut album 'I Saw a Stranger Take a Dead Man's Place' is now online for your listening pleasure.

3/6/2010 - 'Debut single and album coming soon'

After a quiet couple of months working away to get our debut album finished and released things are now starting to hot up in the We Are Jonah camp - and not just because of the current period of clement weather!

Our debut album is now finished and has been sent off to the various places for CDs to be made and MP3s to appear on iTunes etc etc and we will be posting more news very soon to update you further with regards to that.

But in the more immediate future we are due to be releasing our debut single, taken from the forthcoming album, very soon indeed!

And as if that wasn't enough We Are Jonah excitement for one update - we are also now starting to book up gigs for the summer as well as an album launch gig to be announced very soon.

8/4/2010 - 'Headlining in Brighton and album progress'

Well we've had a busy couple of months hard at work getting our debut album finished and ready for all you lovely people to hear! But now we're taking a short break from tweaking EQs and adjusting attack and release times to headline our first gig in Brighton at The Providence on Saturday night.

Doors are at 8pm and we should be on around 10pm but make sure you're there in good time just to be safe!

We look forward to seeing as many of you down there as possible for what should be a great night.

Oh and as for the album, it's coming along very nicely! Everything is recorded so now it's down to mixing and mastering and everything else that has to be sorted before we can finally place a CD in your hands/audio device of choice!

3/2/2010 - 'Brighton headline show confirmed'

We Are Jonah will be headlining a rock night at The Providence, Western Road, Brighton on Sat 10th April.

It will be our first show in Brighton and at only £2 is a real bargain to catch all our latest songs. As usual there’ll be drinks promos ‘til midnight and some Jonah offers too.

Get it in your diary now and we’ll see you on the 10th!
